Spartan Commons

A Destination for Community

Spartan Commons creates a state-of-the-art student engagement and learning commons that blends various aspects of student life into a seamless environment. It will increase the College’s appeal to prospective students and enrich current student opportunities by increasing student engagement through incorporating a new home for student government, Greek Life, and other campus activities. It also will create custom areas for individual, collaborative, and distance learning opportunities for students. Spartan Commons will integrate career and leadership development centers and will provide a space for combining written and visual resources through technology to create a comprehensive source of learning assets. Finally, Spartan Commons will be the destination location on campus, the place that signals a “sense of arrival.”
